As we come to the end of our second habit, Be Proactive – Making Good Choices, from the book by Sean Convey, 7 Habits of Happy Kids, we have two free printables for you! One is a worksheet type printable. A fun activity to do with your child after you’ve read the story, “Bored, Bored, Bored!”. The second printable is an activity the whole family can be involved in.
Proactive vs. Reactive Worksheet
When a child has something visually to learn from, most of the time they will enjoy the activity more! This hands-on proactive vs. reactive worksheet allows him to cut out the statements and paste them in the correct columns. As your child is working on this, ask him what he would say or do to make it a proactive statement. I truly believe that brain power for children comes from challenging their thinking! I always say, “Use your brain, or you will lose it!” This will usually get a giggle out of kids, too!
