Balance Is Best
Learning to balance out our everyday life between the four happy parts of our being is kind of like a puzzle. We’ve discussed ways to sharpen the saw for the body and mind. Up next is the heart. There are four parts to the heart that will help you know that balance is best. How do you put this puzzle together? Easy, with these four steps, we will realize balance is best.
Building Your Heart
It all starts on your birth day. Your heart is pure and gentle, but as you grow more feelings come to you and sometimes that can make your heart confused. Over time those feelings become more balanced and you learn to hold close near what your heart loves. Building your heart with different emotions allows you to interact with others. Just remember not all the emotions will be good ones. Learning from bad reactions caused by the hearts emotions will help build a strong, sharp heart. A balanced heart is full of character, love, selflessness and so many more feelings. It makes you, you!
A part of growing up is making friends. Building relationships and keeping them strong will provide part of the balance you need. Learn to make new friends. By connecting with others, your heart can learn to grow and build the new relationships that you need. If you haven’t been in touch with a friend in a while, get in touch with them and catch up. I know lives get busy, but to keep the balance we need to make time for things and people that make us who we are. Having a good social life will help you feel more at ease.
Nothing feels better than to help someone in need. Providing services, such as volunteering at a center or food pantry, taking meals to seniors or the homeless, or providing such as service as to visit the local animal shelter and give an animal affection will help you stay balanced as well. Teach your children to show the same compassion by taking them with you to these places. Let them ask you questions, they will be curious. Keep the heart sharpened by helping others in need. There are so many people who need help, and just not enough people willing to do it.
Don’t Forget to Laugh
A happy, balanced heart is one that can laugh like there is no tomorrow. Have you ever had one of those days where you know all you need a good, deep-down belly laugh? Laughing can enhance your mood and boost your immune system! Enjoy a fun night out and go see a live comedian. You may hurt afterward from the laughing, but I bet you will feel wonderful! After all, they say laughter is the best medicine! This post may contain affiliate links, please review my disclosure policy .
